These issues and PRs address a bug where the A2A orphan-task watchdog uses a hardcoded timeout, causing long-running tasks to be incorrectly marked as FAILED in the store while still actively executing. The work involves correcting the watchdog logic so live tasks with active waiters are not prematurely marked as failed.
