These items concern a bug where a manual dashboard is left down after a package manager update takeover, because the respawn incorrectly replays a pre-update Python entry point against a now-incompatible launcher shim (causing a SyntaxError). The fix routes the respawn through the current install's entry point and records failed respawns appropriately.
